Jeff Molby is a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, pedaling his bike on a two-year mission around the country because there are wayyyy too many Americans that can't get to their cancer treatments right now.

ACS has a progrm to help with this. It's been around since the early 80s. It works like Uber except the drivers are volunteers and the stakes are very high.

Unfortunately, it's been heartbreakingly short on drivers since the pandemic. More than HALF of all ride requests were denied last year because we just didn't have any drivers available.

It's all totally at your schedule. You'll see a list of all the nearby rides that are needed... and you can pick whichever ones are a good fit for you. You'll see how long they expect their appointment to last, so you can either drive them one-way or the full roundtrip, whatever you have time for.

And when life gets too busy and you need to step away for a little while, that's totally ok. The goal is to have enough drivers so that nobody has to do anything hard.
